Pretty but no snap

This diamond art is very pretty. We love doing square diamond art because of the fulfilling snap when you put the pieces in, but this picture doesn’t have the squares tight enough to achieve that. There are gaps in between the diamonds and you have to recenter them after using the larger end of the tool. It seems like if they were pushed tightly together you’d have enough room to put a whole other row of the diamonds down one side of the art. Love the image but wish the squares weren’t larger than the diamonds so it fit tighter.
