Colors are too bold/muddy

I received the DC temple paint by number as a Christmas gift. Whike I have no complaint about the print, I find the colors are far too dark and bold. The DC temple is practically an orange brown and where it looks like (from the sample photo) it should be a light green, it’s actually a mustard yellow. None of these colors look particularly well together. I keep huffing along thinking that it will surely look better in the end, but it only has gotten worse. I honestly think this would be an absolutely stunning piece of artwork if better colors were used. Less orange and dark yellow….and more pastels. I’m half tempted to buy a new one, throw the colors away and select my own at a craft store…but after all this work I’m not keen on doing it again. I think it’s a wonderful idea…but these colors do not really match the sample and it’s very disappointing.

It was a gift for my wife and she has absolutely loved it! She has said multiple times that she found it relaxing and very entertaining

Issues with paint

Not satisfied with the paint! It is too thick. Followed the directions to thin with water and it just lumps. It does not cover the numbers.

The paint we got was rock solid and can't use it. Really disappointed.
